The Company commenced Trading in May 2004 as a Mail Order Company with the Objective of Selling Direct to the Public High Quality Marine Products that represent Excellent Value for Money, thereby eliminating the requirement for Third Parties and other Channels of Distribution. Examples being traditional Chandleries where prices are higher due to high fixed costs of premises.

Originally we sold only the Anka Yanka Range of Products which originated from Australia which carry a Worldwide Patent and for which we are the UK and European Distributor. The Anka Yanka has been tremendously successful in the UK including Channel Isles and both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland including Mainland Europe.

Here in the United Kingdom the Bristol Channel is renowned for the unforeseen difficult sea conditions which can make the Anchor retrieving operation of the boats anchor both uncomfortable and dangerous if not carried out correctly. So speed and efficiency are required if both crew and craft have to retrieve the anchor and make for home port as soon as possible. It was this challenge that led to the search for an efficient anchor retrieval lifting device, which we believe after testing many others to have found, and be very confident that once you have purchased an “Anka Yanka” from us, should, if used correctly last you your entire boating career.
